Known for our original V series steel, Takefu Special Steel Co., LTD. Has created a new VG10 series. The VG10 series was developed through an advanced smelting process, resulting in a high purity iron with the addition of cobalt to ensure maximum strength and greater edge retention without making it difficult to resharpen.
This high deinsity wood mixes resin with natural wood in multiple layers that are then heated and compressed. The material is strong, resistant to wear, moisture and corrosion.
This knife is used for carving and slicing large blocks of meat.
The slicer is used by butchers, but is also serves well as a household knife as the narrow blade is rather light.
These blades are dimpled on both sides, offering an uneven surface which allows air to flow between the blade and the food when cutting. This allows for smoother cutting and less resistance.
